CAJT Wants to Help Middletown, OH Bring Back Wings Of Freedom In 2009!!!!!!!!

Letter From Rich Bevis
Dear Air Show Enthusiasts,To all of you who attended the Wings of Freedom air show, we thank you for coming and hope you enjoyed the show. It was the culmination of months of planning and many hours invested by dozens of volunteers. Everyone agrees that it was a big success and a great contribution to the Southwest Ohio region.Unfortunately, actual paid attendance was significantly less than we needed it to be. Overall attendance was estimated at 13,000, but included many volunteers and kids under 12 whom were admitted free. Obviously the storm played a huge part in the low turnout, as most of the area had no electric or cable for most of the week preceding the show. No power/cable meant people had a) no TV, cable, Internet or radio on which to hear our commercials and b) additional clean up to do once their power went back on!So if you enjoyed the air show – or had to miss it because of the storm – and you would like us to bring it back next year, please make a contribution today to the Middletown Aviation Foundation by clicking the Donate button on the right. We are a 501c3 organization and your contribution is tax deductible. If you have any questions or want more information about this organization click the About Us tab or contact us at info@ middletownaviation.com.Thanks again for helping to make the “Wings of Freedom” air show one of Southwest Ohio’s premiere events of the season.Sincerely,

–Rich Bevis, Co-Chairman, Wings of Freedom Air Show–
